24 Hour Emergency Care

We understand that horses don’t only have problems during regular business hours. One of the Piedmont Equine veterinarians is always on call to handle emergencies either on the farm or at the clinic located at 1051 Morris Road, Madison, Georgia 30650. Our emergency ambulatory service will provide care to your patient at your home or farm within a 30 mile radius of our clinic. We will make every effort to get to the farm if needed, but request your understanding during times of high call volume. With this large of a region, drive times are extended. Horse owners with whom we don't have a pre-existing relationship are requested to haul into the clinic for emergency services.

Hauling your patient to our clinc is the fastest manner in which you can receive care. Most patients treated at the clinic on an outpatient basis do not remain at the clinic for extended care. Your patient will not be admitted unless medically necessary for observation, on-going treatments or intensive care. Our goal in requesting that you bring your patient to the clinic is for a timelier response. Your assistance in this helps us provide the best possible care by ensuring that all needed equipment and medications are available for diagnostics and treatment purposes.
